It’s officially July, everyone! To all my U.S. readers, I hope you had a wonderful July 4th, whether you celebrated in a traditional way or by hiding out in air conditioning (hope it was a good time, either way). To everyone else around the world, I hope you had a restful weekend.

We’re back with another issue. A gentle reminder to all my readers or occasional stopper-bys: make sure to read carefully who the podcaster is looking for as guests and what their podcast is about. If you or a client isn’t a fit, best not to pitch “hoping for the best.” Also, because today’s issue follows right after a US holiday, be mindful of your follow-ups for any U.S.-based podcasters. Try not to check in too soon or aggressively, especially on a Monday.
