It’s officially July, everyone! To all my U.S. readers, I hope you had a wonderful July 4th, whether you celebrated in a traditional way or by hiding out in air conditioning (hope it was a good time, either way). To everyone else around the world, I hope you had a restful weekend.
We’re back with another issue. A gentle reminder to all my readers or occasional stopper-bys: make sure to read carefully who the podcaster is looking for as guests and what their podcast is about. If you or a client isn’t a fit, best not to pitch “hoping for the best.” Also, because today’s issue follows right after a US holiday, be mindful of your follow-ups for any U.S.-based podcasters. Try not to check in too soon or aggressively, especially on a Monday.

I’ve moved! After much contemplation, I made the decision to move this feature back to Substack. Among many of the reasons is that I’m not entirely comfortable leaving up podcaster information so visible for so long. I’ve had mixed feelings about that platform for a while, as you probably know, but I feel more confident moving forward with this weekly feature there.
