February Monthly Wrap Up: A Look Back

As you can tell, I’m slowly inching my way back to the blogging world. I spotted this themed monthly post that has you wrapping up what you read for the month. You can check it out on Feed Your Fiction Addiction. A few thoughts on February:

  • My, it was cold! There was quite a few days of really cold tempartures this past month. It finally broke this weekend, and it’s nice to see the sunshine. I’ll miss the winter though.
  • Work is going well! It’s nice to be in the grove of full-time work.
  • Freelance writing is going very well. I’m actually trying not to take on so much work, but still keep looking out for opportunties.
  • Creative writing, is also making progress! I did some revisions on a short story that’s been plaquing me, so that is nice.

With that, here are a few of the books that captured my attention this February:

Whodunit Puzzles by Tim Dedopulos

It’s basically a collection of puzzles for you to solve in order to figure out who did the crime. Very fun to read and great to have with you to peak at every now and then. Each puzzle is written like a story, and it’s fun to see if you get it.

Check it out on GoodReads.

Breaking News by Frank Morelli

I’ll have my full review of this soon, but middle-grade fiction is so fun for me to read. This is about stolen money and how two newspaper sleuths battle to figure out who did the crime. Both are at war with each other, so it makes for an interesting read.

Find it on GoodReads.

That’s all for the month! I have been in a reading rut so I don’t have as many to share. But hopefully, either one of these books catches your eye.

What did you read in February?

  1. I can’t say I love winter, but we’ve had a warm one this year (except for a few days recently), and my body hates the heat, so…🤷‍♀️

Welcome back to blogging, and yay for work and freelance writing going well!
