My Sunday Reading Wrap-Up Post

My unofficial 2024 goal is to get back into blogging again and be more active in the blogosphere. I don’t want to make this an official resolution, but more of a “nice if I did it thing.” Caffeinated Book Reviewer has a regular Sunday post, and I thought I’d write one too!

What’s coming:

I recently read and reviewed a memoir called My University of the World by Neill McKee. It’s a fascinating memoir and perfect if you love world travel. Keep an eye out for that one!

What’s next:

There are a couple of books I’m needing to review for WOW! Women on Writing. However, part of my goal this year is to participate in the backlist reading challenge (my announcement here!). So, the next one on my list is Making a Living by Paul Montag.

Other updates:

The start of 2024 has been a bit slow, freelance writing-wise at least. That’s good and bad. It eases me into the year but I worry about how I’ll feel in the next couple of weeks. I’ve gotten used to the income from my freelance work.

Creatively, though, I’m sort of ahead of myself. I finished a short story that I’ve been working on for a while on New Year’s Day! And I outlined another. I hope this momentum continues.

What are you reading? What are you writing?
