So, once upon a time, back in a different version of me in late 2022, I signed up for something called Project Backlist Reading Challenge for 2023. I completely forgot about it, and I really don’t think I read anything specifically related to that challenge at all this year.
Then, I got an email! It was from Kal, the owner of the challenge, inviting previous sign-ups to join the challenge again. I decided to participate for 2024.
So, I’m doing the specific challenge to clear my ARC review list. Luckily, these aren’t physical books toppling a weakened side table. They are all sitting in my email inbox, waiting for me to review them. This is also in addition to the books I’m likely going to read for WOW blog tours.
My fear is that I’m joining this with the lens of having had almost 10 days off from work and less freelance work coming in because of the holidays. But! That doesn’t mean I can’t commit to it.
So, I’m happy to take part! I am thinking of doing an official post of books on that ARC list, but…I think I’ll save that for later.
Are you joining in? Here are details about the project: https://readervoracious.com/project-backlist-reading-challenge/
Getting through a TBR list is so satisfying, and I can’t tell you how productive it makes me feel. Good luck with the challenge — I’m looking forward to reading your reviews and hopefully picking up some interesting book recommendations along the way!
It is! I’m hoping to share some good ones that everyone will discover. I have sure been neglecting that reading list š
