I’m back with more book finds for the week as part of Mailbox Monday! The weather is sunny, which to be honest, I’m not quite ready for, but it is what it is, I guess. I kind of miss rainy cozy days. With everything going on in the world, I’ve been far more restless in my soul, so I’ve been taking care with the types of books and movies I choose to read.
I was really excited to see my book find from last week got featured on Mailbox Monday!
With that, here are a few finds that I got this past week, all-ebooks:
I had never realized Mary Poppins was a book and I was captured right away. I’m actually so-so about the movie, but this book is so delightful and charming. Check it out on Amazon.
Purely chosen based on its description! Plus, I love giving indie books a try. (Find it on Amazon).
The title alone caught me here! Check it out on Amazon.
And while this is a find I got weeks ago, it’s the book I’m reading this week and I find it really charming:
The descriptions are great and the main character is a writer, so she has fun insights on writing life (with the viewpoint of a somewhat amateur) that I can really, really relate to! Check it out on Amazon.
If you want to join in, go by Mailbox Monday’s Website and check it out!
Did any of these books catch your eye? What are you reading this week?
I knew Mary Poppins had a literary background.
These books look interesting, thanks for sharing!

Thanks!
I’ve never read Mary Poppins but I do like the movie. The Reluctant Detective sounds good and I see it is available in audio. Tempting.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!
Hope you check both out!
I finished – and enjoyed overall – Charlie Donlea’s TWENTY YEARS LATER. I just started Kelley Armstrong’s THE DEEPEST OF SECRETS, part of her Rockton series. So far, so good! 🙂
That Twenty Years Later book looks great! I added it to my own reading list.
I hope you enjoy it! I did like it, but there are a few others by him that I enjoyed more – DON’T BELIEVE IT, SOME CHOOSE DARKNESS, and THE GIRL WHO WAS TAKEN.
Murder at the Filmore looks good. I knew Mary Poppins was based on a book and read it many years ago. Happy reading!
