We’re back again with another Saturday night guest! This time I have Naomi D. Nakashima, author of the book Write Out Loud, currently on tour with WOW! Women on Writing. You’ll have an opportunity to find out more about her book. But first, here are suggestions from Naomi for you Saturday night.
Take it away, Naomi!
A Book Recommendation: Never Forget Your by Fiona Lucas. This book has everything: great romance, interesting characters, poignant themes. Lili and Ben met, but despite their instant chemistry, had to part ways for a while. They agree to meet in one year, but one of them never shows up. The book is unputdownable, which is perfect for your Saturday night.
A Movie Recommendation: You can never go wrong with a Marvel movie. Each and every one of them are great on their own and yet they aren’t on their own because they’re all a part of a bigger story. The characters are amazing and inspiring; they all have something they’re going through and they always learn something about themselves, and about the world they live in, along the way.
A Wild Card Recommendation: Crafts with the kids! I’m a single mom, so time with the kids is about as wild as I get. But you never really know just how patient you are until you’re trying to build or bake something with the kids. My kids are great, and I really love spending the time with them. Every weekend we make something new.
Great recommendations, Naomi!
