Do you love getting books in the mail? While there is a certain special joy that comes with scouring a library or bookstore, there’s something unique about getting a book in the mail. In particular, I love it when it’s one that I haven’t chosen myself. That could be why I love reviewing books. It pushes me outside of my comfort zone.
I thought I’d put together a list of subscription boxes that will give you books in the mail along with some other prizes you wouldn’t have thought to buy for yourself. These also make for a great gift, too!
Book of the Month Club
The Book of the Month has been around since 1926. Can you believe it? It was transformed into a book-of-the-month subscription box that you can receive in the mail. Each month you have an opportunity to select one book, based on a list they give you. Or you can skip it that month if you still have a book from the month prior. You can also select more if you’d like, which are $9.99 each after your first choice (very cheap for a physical copy!).
It’s only $9.99 your first month and $14.99 after.
