Alright, so it’s been a while since I’ve done a regular post and I wanted to update everyone! It’s also becoming more apparent (or at least some of you may or may not have noticed) I’m not commenting as much as I used to.
So this post is for you to know why!
1) My Computer…Passed Away
I finally accepted my computer passed away. And that also mean did every document I had on there. And no, I didn’t have a formal backup system. And yes, I have learned my lesson and that will not be that way in the future.
So, I do have my trusty iPhone, but it isn’t so easy or intuitive to read and comment as much as I used to.
2) I Finally Have a Job!!
I start my new job Monday and this means I am even less likely to read and comment. I can’t wait because this will be a great career track for me and I am so excited!
3) My To Do List…Is Way Long
I have two (no wait, three…) books waiting to review. And a couple of blog oriented things I need to do. I also want to play catch up with my fantasy novel (my laptop ate four and five). And I am doing all of this on my cell phone, so it makes it that much more difficult.
So please don’t take my absence personally. I am trying to cut down on the projects I take on and catch up with what I have left. And this means less blog reading time!
I am also pretty absent on Twitter and GooglePlus too, so if you want to get a hold of me, send me an email or leave a comment on a blog post (I always read those!).
I hope all is well with everyone and I hope you stick with me! I am hoping a normal routine will return soon!
Congrats on the job and I'm so sorry about your computer. I really should be doing some sort of backup, too. š
Congratulations on the new job!
Congrats on your job, Nicole. We'll save a spot for you when your down time comes back! š
My sympathy on the passing of your computer. Seriously, that's tough. But whole-hearted congratulations on the new job. We'll be here when you get back.
I'm jealous about the job! I've been trying for, well forever. Least it seems like it! Sorry about your computer, I've been there and it is so much more than just a bump in the road for those trying to work on their writing!
Oh,my laptop died last year, with everything on it. Have a new one now and back up like crazy. While I was inbetween though, I became an expert at posting tomy blog with my phone. It was a pain. Congrats on the new job.
