I’m catching up on my reading list and excited to share with you one that captivated me immediately! It’s called The Yarn That Binds by Rebecca McKinnon.

After learning she inherits everything, Jemma is faced with the choice of casting on a new life by reopening her grandmother’s yarn shop, or returning to her live-out-of-a-suitcase life as a travel vlogger.
One thing’s for sure — she’s not leaving town until the mystery of her grandmother’s death has unraveled. But when the deputy in charge of the investigation ignores clues Jemma stumbles upon, she decides to do her own poking around. Because her grandmother was right — there is something strange happening in Clear Creek.
My Review
I love a good cozy mystery. I really liked Jemma a lot – I swear her and I would have been friends if we knew each other in person. The author does such a good job of engaging the reader and making the entire town seem like a place I wish I could live. I really enjoyed how the mystery played out. It felt like a whodunit kind of mystery. Emmilene was another star character to me, and I really liked how she connected with Jemma and helped her throughout the whole event of her grandmother’s death. This is such a charming read, I absolutely recommend it!
