My Review of Blink and Glow by Raven Howell

While I don’t have children, I absolutely adore children’s books, especially ones written by Raven Howell. I had the chance to review Blink and Glow, and I can’t wait to tell you about it! Here’s more about the book:

Lilly and Leo think it’s super to catch fireflies and salamanders—and even more exciting, as they plan to bring their glowing nature finds to show-and-tell the next day. They have a change of heart when Grandma’s wisdom guides the children to respect the freedom and light of the natural life in all living things.

My Thoughts:

Raven Howell has done it again! She is such a talented writer. She captured the heart of children, looking forward to show and tell the next day with their glowing creatures. She also sent out an important message through the book on appreciating nature and taking care of the world around us. I think it’s a great way of introducing the idea of taking care of our planet and the creatures within for a child. It has beautiful art and even a fun craft at the end.

I definitely recommend it!

Purchase your copy at Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Make sure you add it to your reading list on GoodReads too.
